Why polyethylene is an advantage in hot climate countries
Polyethylene is a material that does not overheat in hot weather and therefore does not create a surface on which children can burn themselves, which is often the case with, for example, steel slides. This material advantage is one of the reasons why polyethylene tubes are particularly popular in countries with high temperatures.
Safety is essential in ensuring that both children and adults feel secure in and around the tube slide, and our materials therefore meet strict requirements, as the choice of materials plays a key role in ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience.
We have therefore chosen to produce our tube slides in polyethylene and our accessories in steel, polycarbonate, polyethylene (HDPE) and nylon. These materials are all low-maintenance, recyclable and extremely durable. And with the correct composition of materials and production techniques, we ensure that our tube slides do not change over time and that they are resistant to temperature fluctuations, intense sunshine and high air humidity. This means that they can withstand many years of use without posing a safety risk.
We also test our materials and perform a PAH test to ensure that they do not contain heavy metals or other toxins that could be health hazardous for our employees and tube slide users.

Design and service that promote safety
In addition to the materials, the tube slide design is also of great importance to whether the slide is safe. In many cases, these are large structures with a height of several metres, and it is important to have all calculations and safety requirements in place to give the tube slide a sound design without any safety risks.
Certified tube components
Safety is our number one priority. Therefore, the eight tube components we use to construct our tube slides are certified by TÜV SÜD, and our long experience in this field means that we know exactly how to design a tube slide that meets the European safety standard EN 1176. If you want documentation that the tube slide design complies with EN 1176, we can apply for a drawing approval from TÜV SÜD. Contact us to inquire about any additional price.
SlideMaker – safety in design and installation
With more than 25 years’ experience, we are one of the leading suppliers of plastic tube slides. Much of our know-how is now incorporated in our latest 3D construction program SlideMaker. When we design the tube slides in SlideMaker, we receive automatic warnings and recommendations to ensure that safety requirements are met.
The program also prepares a specific assembly instructions for each individual tube slide, so you have specific instructions for precisely your project. Correct installation is essential for maintaining the safety and life of the tube slide. We also offer to deliver the slide in pre-assembled parts for an extra fee. This saves you time and resources for on-site assembly and guarantees you that the tube slide is assembled correctly.
